Program Manager- China
ABC Education Group is a leading provider of international education solutions, offering services that support agents, students, families, and schools. Our portfolio includes USA F-1 & J-1 High School Programs, UK High School Programs, virtual education and college counseling, and junior language courses in both the USA and UK. We are expanding our presence in China and seeking a Program Manager to lead market growth, support agents, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to meet enrollment and revenue goals.
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, managing agent relationships, coordinating events and digital campaigns, and ensuring accurate CRM and pipeline management. This role requires strong stakeholder management, a results-oriented mindset, and proven experience in international education recruitment in China.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Recruitment
- Develop and execute B2B and B2C sales plans for the China territory to meet or exceed revenue and enrollment targets.
- Visit and train agents, provide regular consultation, and build long-term partnerships to drive student referrals.
- Generate leads through local outreach, school/agent relationships, and digital channels; qualify and nurture prospects through the recruitment funnel.
- Maintain up-to-date records for students, agents, and prospects in the CRM; ensure pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regional regulatory or visa developments; recommend tactical adjustments.
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Executive Team.
Events & Marketing
- Plan and support participation in roadshows, fairs, and recruitment conventions across China; represent the company at events as required.
- Coordinate and host online webinars, presentations, and virtual open days targeted to students, families, and agents.
- Collaborate with the global marketing team to localize promotional materials, campaigns, and messaging for the China market.
- Assist with logistics and on-the-ground support during travel and event execution, including rapid-response situations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Work closely with operations, admissions, and academic teams to ensure smooth student onboarding and high-quality service delivery.
- Deliver internal trainings to sales, agent partners, and internal stakeholders on product features, admissions processes, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to process improvements and scalable workflows that support growth in China.
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native Mandarin speaker with strong written and spoken English.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in international education sales, recruitment, or admissions, with direct experience in the China market.
- Deep understanding of the US and/or UK secondary education systems and relevant visa processes (F-1, J-1 preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and enrollment targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills; comfortable delivering trainings and public presentations.
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and reporting.
- Ability to travel within China and occasionally internationally; comfortable with remote work and cross-timezone collaboration.
